Retirement

I quit. I the obvious reason being I spend far too much time playing this game, espeacially of late because of the raids. I have an addictive personality so I'll never be able to play WoW in moderation, so it's all or nothing and I've chosen the later. The only thing this abomination has given me is 70 days of wasted youth, distraction from the things I actually enjoy doing and has even begun to affect my social life = not cool. My reasons are depressing... true, as much as deleting Arc was like aborting an inbred bovine love-child...

I'd liked to apologise for the way I left it last night, it was abrupt and I'm sorry. I only did this because I know if I had stayed on to say goodbyes etc. I would have been talked round into staying online because I'm a pussy and I'M A TOOL! =P.

Ohhhh one last thing, thank you Nik and Jess and everyone in Hyperion as you all made my final months playing WoW an absoulute joy. Never have I met such an amazing group of gamers online and ones that I'll never ever forget. I hope I can keep in contact with the majority of you and of course continue posting on these forums with permission ^^.

I wish you all well and I hope the guild goes from strength to strength as it has done.

Hey Arc, I did not get to play with you alot but i'm sorry to hear you're quitting WoW. I understand your reasons ofcourse. I too sometimes find it difficult to mix RL with WoW, but I'm okay with the way things are going for me now and so are the people (girlfriend, friends, family) around me. I wish you the best of luck IRL, get out there and have a blast!!!

Man, this bites...hard. You are one of the founder members of this guild. You've helped out whenever needed and you've always been there with the laughs and jokes. But more importantly, you're my friend and I'm going to miss you a lot. You should come on vent sometimes to say hi and stuff. and call me at home so we can give you the details for this weekend.

Arc my friend you'll be sorely missed, I really enjoyed chatting and grouping with you mate. But at teh same time im also glad that you have stopped playing if it was getting you down man. So onwards and upwards eh? All the best for the future man, i hope yer plans and wishes work out for you!

If you ever make it out this way please look me up and ill happily shout you a beer or 10, or if you get to where you want to be and feel that wow itch again it would be great to see you.
